HI, I don't know why my Mediawiki 1.9.3 looks "fat" in IE 6/7, but in Firefox is just all right. All the tables separated. Attached picture, please help.

IE is rendering your page in quirks mode for some reason. This is almost certainly the cause of the problem.

This is likely the result of using a sucky editor like Notepad. Look at the beginning of LocalSettings.php and other files you've edited with a hex editor (Google for a selection); you should see three gibberish bytes at the beginning of one or more of them, EF BB BF. Delete those and save and things should clear up.
